Jim Spickelmier – Owner/Head Operator
Jim Spickelmier has been self-employed for the last 30+ years, running numerous successful businesses in the Nebraska region. His ownership experience includes hardware stores, propane supply, underground sprinklers, non-invasive pipe repair and now horizontal directional drilling. Jim was born and raised in Nebraska and is proud to have served local business owners and individuals since the 1980s. Jim served as a lobbyist with the Nebraska Propane Association and as their Executive Director in the 1990s. He expanded his business expertise to include horizontal directional drilling and non-invasive pipe repair. Jim is proud to own a family business, and has been married to his wife Shelly for 12 years. He is thankful for her support with his long hours and dedication to the business.

Jeff Spickelmier – Locator/Operator
Jeff is a Locator/Operator and has 13+ years experience in the excavation industry, including underground sprinklers, non-invasive pipe repair, horizontal directional drilling. Locators and Operators assist the excavation operation by identifying the safest drilling path and guide the equipment underneath the ground during excavation. Jeff was born and raised in Nebraska and has served in the U.S. Armed Services, stationed in Germany and serving a tour in Afghanistan. Jeff is proud to be a part of the family business and enjoys helping Nebraska businesses and individuals with their excavation needs

Stafford Sikes – Locator/Operator
Stafford is new to the organization as of 2017 and has a diverse background. He was born in Oklahoma, raised in Nebraska and brings over 25 years of experience in agriculture, mechanics, pivots and grain bin construction, welding and fabrication to the company . Stafford's mechanical talents help keep the machinery running smoothly.

Dane McGinley – Excavation Engineer
Dane performs the open trenching for excavation operations, and has 7+ years of experience with excavation. He was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska and has been in the Nebraska National Guard for 16 years. Dane was deployed three times to Iraq and Kuwait, and also New Orleans for Hurricane Katrina relief. His military experience includes driving for convoys and instructing for military leadership development.
